      DancingHooves            Farm and Studio

Welcome to Dancing Hooves Farm and Studio!

We are a small farm located near the town of Aztec, New Mexico.  We have had sheep for many years and have used the wool for spinning and weaving.  Recently we have been developing a flock of registered Corriedale sheep.  We chose them because of their soft wool quality and temperament.  We raise them for wool as well as meat.
We have a shop here on the farm where we carry wool and other spinning fibers as well as spinning and weaving equipment from the Schacht, Louet and Ashford companies.  Spinning and weaving classes are available for the beginner as well as for the more experienced craftsperson.
You are welcome to visit the shop, see the sheep and learn more about spinning and weaving.  Special groups meet here such as a spinning group and a Cricket club.  We have special events that happen such as dye days and felting frenzies.  Give us a call or email to let us know how we can help you enjoy the world of spinning and weaving.  Karen Dearing, owner
